to my one and only blog reader

I spent my lunch hour reading your blog. i wanted to blog during lunch but i forgot my username and password. i had to reset it to write this post. anyways, my thoughts on your blogs for the past several month are the following

- scott pilgrim was awesomeeeee and i never read the graphic novels

- my hair is also brown

- i thought you were going to watch inception with me and justin? thats what we agreed on facebook. hate you for that (jk)

- find me the gummy worms i asked you for from sydney

- is it winter in sydney?

- i think that the death penalty is like an easy way out and doesnt solve anything or bring justice to any side. i think murderers need to undergo intense grueling behaviour changing therapy and maybe a lifetime of manual labour so they arnt so useless just sitting in jail. i feel that making someone live an extremely hard rest of their life is more satisfying than just ending it.

- you should make an app where if you play a wrong note or tap the wrong object or whatever, you lose that option for the rest of the game and you earn it back by having a 50 note streak or something and so for the time u were missing the key, the song just sounds funny or instead of just skipping that note, the game plays a funny sound like a horn or a giggle

anyways, that was my response to whatever i was able to read on your blog. i will try to update more often. my life at the moment consists of me hating ttc. i also want to go to casa loma to run the stairs where scott pilgrim was filmed. and i want to find that park just to sit on the swings.

psst krishna, do you still read my blog???

so what’s on my mind these days??

Fat people need to lose weight or die or at the very least buy a car so noone has to see them in public. Yes, i am a fat person hater. judge me all you want. I run 5-10k on a regular basis so when ppl give me the “skinny bitch cut eye” i give them the “ew you are fat and disgusting glare of shame”. you know you are too fat when 1) you dont fit in a single seat on the ttc, 2) when on the ttc, you take up enough standing space that would normal fit 3 normal sized individuals, 3) you stall the escalator because you take up all the space not letting ppl walk, 4) you shop in the men’s clothing department and struggle to fit in XXL, 5) you struggle to fit old navy women’s xxl… there are plenty more i can add to the list, but this blog would never end if i listed them all. bottom line, if you are fat from medical issues or if you just let your self go, do yourself a favour and go starve yourself skinny or just commit suicide. goodbye.

lets blog!

since i last blogged, i finally mastered carving properly on a snowboard. my next goal on the slopes will be to be brave enough to jump in the air and do some tricks. I went to NYC with my bestie and spent a good 4 days exploring the city by foot. I got sent to court to testify a case and sent the accused to jail (Ha! in your face loser!). I also rejected a guy who i was never interested in and no longer have interest in keeping the friendship with because his actions showed how much he didn’t care. last but not least, i have started training for potential marathons i may participate in this summer. woohoo! that was some crazy mid-feb to march i had. April is here and big things are happening. very excited, nervous, anxious but also positive and happy. yay me! ok.. now time to log off of this blog and start living my april! byessss

49 days into 2010

here are some lessons i’ve learned since the new year.

1. forgive and forget is not always the best solution to a problem.

2. sometimes, the most powerful thing a person can do is doing nothing at all.

3. fear is the most fearful thing to fear.

4. giving up is hard.

5. its hard to distinguish between those you can really trust and those who are nosy and just want to know whats going on without actually caring.

6. blogging is not a productive way for me to express my thoughts. i tried.

seriously?!!

so… i have this deaf-racist-midget stalker who stalks me at work and offered to be my boyfriend and is now praying that i will mate with an asian lover if not him. so after security gave him a warning, i was in peace for a while, but yesterday, i was at yonge-eglinton area and guess who taps my shoulder. i swear i felt like i was in a horror film the minute i turned around and saw his creepy face smiling at me. i gave a disgusted glare, put my headphones back in my ears and simply continued walking away faster and faster while he yelled my name over and over again. CREEPER!

so dear prince charming,

whoever and where ever you are, feel free to come save me now.

other than the bruises, falls, soreness experienced, feeling and recovering from right now.. still had an AWESOME weekend!

Sleep with Your Head Facing North

South, Not North

“I suggest you amend the tip on “sleeping with the head pointing North”. It has long been known in India that sleeping this way is damaging to mind and body, and that burying the dead with the head pointing northward makes the body decay more quickly. The premise is that the body can be seen as a large magnet, with the head as the north pole and the feet as the south pole. Since unlike poles attract, it is best to have the feet (south pole) facing North. This results in minimal blood circulation and low activity in the brain, and therefore more restful sleep.”- Ron

Toe Wiggling

A relaxed body is essential for a sound sleep. This may sound like we’re contradicting what we just said about our minds keeping us awake, but it’s no contradiction. Eastern sciences (such as yoga) have known for thousands of years that the mind and body are connected (actually they’re not just connected, they’re one, but the idea that they’re connected is sufficient for our purposes here.) So if the mind is not relaxed, the body is not relaxed. Conversely, the body has to be relaxed for the mind to be relaxed. It’s a package deal.

So how do you relax your body? We’ve already mentioned milk, herbal teas, exercise, and avoiding caffeine. But there are techniques you can do directly with your body. Toe Wiggling is one of them.

Lie on your back (where you should be in the first place) and wiggle your toes up and down 12 times, wiggling the toes of both feet at the same time. This will relax your entire body, inside and out.

How does it work? According to the science of Reflexology — which has been around in other cultures for thousands of years — your feet are a kind of master control panel for the rest of your body. “Meridians” in the body — which are those channels of energy treated by acupuncture — end up in the feet. So the ends of those meridians in your feet connect with every organ and every part of your entire body.

When you wiggle your toes, you are stimulating — and thus relaxing — your entire body. (Incidentally, this is a good place to mention that you can be energized and relaxed at the same time. It’s a matter of the quality of that energy. If it flows freely and smoothly, you will be relaxed. If the energy flow in your body is restricted or blocked, you will be tense. And toe wiggling helps to bring about a relaxing, free-flowing energy.)

Note: This same exercise is also great first thing in the morning before getting out of bed in order to energize the body.

Insomnia Tip #24

Stomach Rub

This soothes down the digestive system and helps to bring about a deeper relaxation. An extra benefit is that it will help you to lose weight by improving the functioning of the digestive system.

Simply lie on your back and place your hand on your navel. Begin to make small circles in a clockwise direction as you gently glide your hand over your stomach. Let your circles gradually become bigger and bigger. When your circles reach the outside of your stomach, gradually reduce their size until you are back at your navel again. Then reverse the direction (to counter-clockwise) and do the same thing again. Repeat this whole series with your other hand. Do this several times.

Note: Food material moves through the colon in a clockwise direction. If you have trouble with constipation, make all your circles clockwise. If troubled by diarrhea, make all your circles counter-clockwise. Clockwise circles will alleviate the blockage, counter-clockwise circles will help solidify fecal material.

just another ordinary day

happy 20-10/2000-10/2-10/0-10 whatever you decide to call it!

so i had an awesome new years with the bestest doing what we do best! the morning after was slow, but it picked up as the day went by. i ended up going skating at night and it was COLD!! i was getting pwned by wind!!! i could literally stand there and the wind was strong enough to just make me glide across the rink. then on the other side of the rink, the wind was so strong, i was struggling to skate anywhere or struggling to stay still at a stop because i was against the wind! but it was still fun and skated for a good 2 hrs. i will fully own up to the fact that i lost all skating skills i learned last year but i will work on getting them back, not that i was ever that good to begin with =P i am however struggling to get warm again. i swear i have or am recovering from hypothermia or something! i was fine out in the cold but the moment i stepped into my house, i was freezing! and i’ve been eating non-stop and drinking hot chocolate and soup non stop to try to warm up. its working, so i’m glad to know i will survive =)

anyways, i’m back to work tmr. life goes on. nothing really changed. change is the result of desires and determination and not a new calender year, so i hope everyone had a good december 31, 2009 -  january 1st, 2010. now lets all go carry on with our lives already.
